Action Steps For West Virginia 5/13

Voter Registration

April 22:  This is the final date to register to vote in West Virginia. You can download or fill out the voter registration form online here: –> WV Voter Registration.  You must complete this form and take it or mail it to your: –> West Virginia County Clerk’s Office.

Vote Early

April 23 -May 10: If you are a WV registered voter, you may vote in person in the office of the county clerk office or area designated in your county courthouse early. You don’t have to wait! Just make sure that you go to your county clerk’s office during their: –> Early Voting Hours.

Absentee Ballots

May 7: This is the final day that your county clerk can receive an application for an absentee ballot. Other absentee ballot deadlines can be viewed here: –> WV Absentee Ballot Calendar. You can download an application online at: –> West Virginia Absentee Ballot Application Form. You must complete this form and take it or mail it to your: –> West Virginia County Clerk’s Office.

Keep It Honest

We suggest that you check for your polling place, prior to the May 13th election day. Check your voter registration, precinct and polling place information with your: –> County Clerk’s Office.

If you need a provisional ballot, please ask the judge at your elections office for one. You can read more about that, and other information, here: –> Help America Vote Act or here: –> Provisional Ballot Rules.  If you see something that seems illegal or ‘not quite right’ in the West Virginia primary elections, please visit this page for information and an online complaint form: –> Election-Related Complaint.

Calls

The most readily accessible volunteer job you can do is to –> Make Phone Calls.  If you cannot afford the long distance toll charges, please contact me through this website for some help.

Contributions

Of course, she can always use your –> Contributions. Barack Obama outspent Hillary in Pennsylvania, but was not able to win that state.  Imagine what the extra money could do for her through the rest of the primaries!  They may be the deciding factor in winning.  Please donate.

Working For The Campaign

If you are from West Virgina or near there, you may want to volunteer time helping in the Hillary Clinton for President effort. –> Sign Up To Volunteer In West Virginia  OR, you can call or visit these headquarters:

If you do not live in, or near West Virginia, please keep in mind that the Hillary Campaign is willing to pick up some of your travel expenses if you choose to volunteer in West Virginia. Find out more on the Hillary Clinton website: –> Travel For Hillary Clinton

If you are a West Virginia resident you may want to view these pictures and info of –> Hillary in WV and let them motivate you into –> Joining the Campaign.

Making Media and Other Contacts For Hillary

I leave it up to you whether you want to contact the –> West Virginia SuperDelegates. I think it would be worth trying. What you may want to do, that would be more helpful, is get signatures from a group of 20, 50, 100, or 200 people, and send one email. That would hold more weight.

One way you can help the campaign is to make comments on blogs, write editorials, or call radio & TV stations with your news and comments for Hillary. You can find a large list of media contacts here:
–> Hillary’s Rapid Responders WV Media List

The list has each county, with the county newspaper link (click on the name). If you click on the A next to each, you will be taken to the contact info, including address for that paper.  If you click on the C next to each, you will be taken to all the media contacts for that county.
